About this asset

This contemporary white fabric curtain with a metal rod is a SketchUp model featuring soft, realistic drapery folds for interior scenes. This asset features a single-panel floor-length curtain suspended from a minimalist slim-profile metal rod. The fabric is rendered with a clean, matte white finish, showcasing natural-looking vertical folds and pleats that suggest a lightweight, soft-touch material. The rod extends horizontally, providing a simple mounting solution for architectural visualisation. The geometry captures the draping effect of the textile as it hangs from the top rail, creating a sense of depth and realism. It is designed to be a versatile component for adding softness and human scale to rendered interior spaces.

The download is a 2.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component or group, allowing for easy scaling to match specific window dimensions. Users can place the model by snapping the rod to the desired wall or ceiling surface. Given the geometry, it is recommended to apply a fabric-specific material texture to the surface for closer renders. The model remains lightweight within the viewport, ensuring smooth navigation when populating larger residential or hospitality projects with multiple window treatments.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or hotel suites where a neutral, soft window treatment is required. They pair well with modern interior schemes, providing a clean, unobtrusive backdrop for furniture arrangements. Professionals searching for window dressings, soft furnishings, or interior accessories will find this asset useful for both concept design and final presentation stages. It integrates seamlessly into scenes requiring a subtle, realistic touch to soften interior lighting and define the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces.
