About this asset

This SketchUp model features a set of two rectangular area rugs with contemporary abstract geometric patterns in white, grey, and orange. These two rectangular rugs feature a cohesive design language centred on concentric arc motifs. The patterns evoke a zen-garden aesthetic, with linear, raised-texture detailing that adds visual depth to the flat surfaces. One rug incorporates a vibrant orange arc accent against a neutral white and grey palette, while the second piece maintains a monochromatic grey and white scheme. Both rugs are presented as low-profile floor coverings, ideal for creating distinct zones within an open-plan interior. The clean, crisp lines of the pattern make them suitable for modern residential or commercial lounge spaces.

The download is a 52.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are best utilised as components within your interior model. Place them on the floor plane, ensuring they are slightly offset by a few millimetres to prevent Z-fighting with the floor surface. You can easily scale these models to suit specific room dimensions or swap the applied texture maps if a different colourway is required for a project presentation. Manage them on a dedicated 'Soft Furnishings' layer to maintain model organisation throughout the design process.

These rugs are well-suited for living rooms, bedrooms, and boutique hospitality suites where a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic is desired. They pair effectively with mid-century modern or Scandinavian furniture, adding texture and a focal point to seating areas. Professionals searching for 'abstract area rug', 'geometric floor covering', or 'modern living room carpet' will find these assets versatile for staging interior visualisations. They provide a quick, effective way to introduce pattern and warmth into a rendered space during the concept or development stages.
