About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a wall-mounted TV unit with a contrasting walnut and white panel and integrated shelving. The unit consists of a vertical back panel split into a white-finished section and a darker walnut-textured section. It features a wall-mounted floating cabinet base with three storage compartments, providing a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Two horizontal shelves are cantilevered from the back panel, creating tiered display space for decor and books. The composition is balanced by the integration of a flat-screen television. The material palette relies on the warmth of wood grain against a crisp white surface, making it suitable for modern interior schemes that require a focus on verticality and storage.

The download is an 18.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised as a single assembly, allowing for easy placement within a living room scene. Users can adjust the overall scale to fit specific wall dimensions or modify the texture maps to match custom wood finishes. The objects are grouped logically, facilitating efficient material assignment and lighting setup. Ensure the wall-mounted base is aligned precisely with the host wall surface to maintain the floating effect, and use standard mapping modifiers to refine the wood grain orientation on the panels.

This wall unit is ideal for residential living rooms and apartment media areas where floor space is limited. It serves as a focal point in contemporary interior design projects, pairing effectively with minimalist seating arrangements and neutral soft furnishings. Professionals searching for media storage solutions or entertainment wall systems will find this piece adaptable for various room layouts. It is particularly useful for visualising compact, high-end residential interiors during the design development stage, providing a clean, functional alternative to traditional freestanding media consoles.
