About this asset

This contemporary 2-door cabinet in SketchUp features a natural wood frame with intricate rattan door panels and open side shelving. Designed with a clean, contemporary aesthetic, this 2-door storage cabinet combines a warm natural wood finish with textured rattan mesh door inserts. The unit stands on four tapered wooden legs, lending a light, mid-century influence to its silhouette. The main body includes two enclosed cupboards for concealed storage, while an integrated vertical section on the right provides three open shelves for display. Small, minimalist round handles allow for easy access. The proportions are compact and balanced, making it suitable for tight spaces that require both functional storage and decorative appeal.

The download is an 11 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp model into your project, place the cabinet as a component to allow for easy duplication or modification. Ensure the model is positioned on the floor plane and check that the material mapping aligns correctly with the geometry. You may need to adjust the wood grain orientation if scaling the object significantly. For rendering purposes, consider applying a subtle bump map to the rattan texture to enhance its depth and realism within your scene lighting setup.

This storage unit is an ideal choice for residential living rooms, hallways, or bedrooms where light, organic textures are required. It pairs well with modern or japandi-style interiors and works effectively as a feature piece in hotel lobbies or boutique retail spaces. Professionals searching for accent storage, hallway console alternatives, or living room display furniture will find this asset highly versatile. Use it in conjunction with indoor plants and soft textiles to create a warm, inviting atmosphere in your interior design presentations.
