About this asset

This 3ds Max wall-mounted wooden altar set features a minimalist shelf, a decorative ceiling panel, and traditional ritual accessories. This wall-mounted altar assembly is crafted from light-toned wood, featuring a clean, minimalist design typical of contemporary Japanese interiors. The set includes a cantilevered shelf with integrated support brackets and a matching rectangular ceiling panel detailed with a geometric fretwork pattern. Arranged on the shelf are essential ritual objects: a golden Buddha statue, a brass incense burner, a tall candlestick, and a glass vase containing delicate yellow foliage. The composition balances natural timber textures with metallic accents, providing a serene focal point for meditative spaces or dedicated prayer corners in modern homes.

The download is a 41.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and manipulation of the individual ritual components. Users should ensure the shelf and ceiling panel are aligned to the correct wall and ceiling height within the scene. Materials are applied using standard slots, which can be easily updated to match specific project lighting conditions. Adjust the scale of the incense and candle elements to suit the desired level of detail in close-up interior visualisations.
