About this asset

This wabi-sabi lounge set for 3ds Max features a natural rattan chair, organic branch luminaire, and patterned rug for relaxed spaces. This curated lounge set centres on a circular rattan armchair with a soft cushion, paired with a matching woven side table. The composition includes a low-profile rug featuring a geometric, tribal-inspired pattern in earthy tones. A striking feature is the sculptural pendant light, which mimics a natural tree branch adorned with small, spherical light nodes. The ensemble emphasises organic textures and a minimalist aesthetic, bringing a sense of calm and natural warmth to interior environments. Each piece is modeled with attention to the woven details of the rattan and the gnarled form of the wooden branch.

The download is a 36.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and group the individual elements for easier manipulation. The materials utilize standard texture maps; ensure the paths are re-linked if the viewport appears grey. The branch luminaire is suspended via wire splines, which can be adjusted in length to suit varying ceiling heights. Use a high-quality environment map to capture the subtle reflections on the light nodes and the intricate shadows cast by the rattan weave for a realistic interior render.

This set is suited for residential living rooms, sunrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies looking to introduce a soft, organic atmosphere. It pairs well with neutral palettes, indoor plants, and natural timber flooring. Professionals searching for 'boho-chic furniture', 'organic interior sets', or 'rattan lounge furniture' will find this collection versatile for staging relaxed, high-end residential projects or hospitality suites. It serves as an effective focal point in contemporary or wabi-sabi design schemes, offering a cohesive look that requires minimal additional styling to complete a space.
