Wabi-Sabi Beige Plaster Dining Scene with Banquette

This wabi-sabi dining scene for 3ds Max features a modular banquette, wooden tables, and chairs set against a textured plaster niche wall. This comprehensive interior scene captures a minimalist, wabi-sabi aesthetic through its focus on organic textures and earthy tones. The setup includes an extended modular banquette upholstered in a neutral fabric, paired with two light-wood rectangular dining tables. Four matching chairs with brown seats provide additional seating. The entire arrangement is anchored by a substantial, hand-finished plaster wall featuring three recessed arched niches containing decorative ceramic vessels. Small potted plants add subtle greenery to the composition. The entire assembly rests on a light-coloured, speckled terrazzo floor, creating a cohesive, calm environment suitable for various hospitality or residential applications.

The download is a 21.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Integrating this scene into a 3ds Max project is straightforward for architectural visualization workflows. The assets are grouped logically, allowing for easy placement within larger floor plans. Users can adjust the material IDs to swap fabric colours or wood finishes to suit specific design palettes. The lighting setup should be configured to highlight the depth of the plaster wall niches and the texture of the materials, preferably using soft, ambient light sources to maintain the intended serene, wabi-sabi mood of the original design.
