About this asset

This 3ds Max model of a vertical garden wall panel features a dense, layered arrangement of mixed foliage for biophilic interiors. Designed as a vertical garden wall panel, this asset features a dense, realistic composition of varied foliage types. The arrangement includes fern-like fronds, broad leaves, and smaller, textured greenery, creating a layered, organic appearance typical of modern green walls. The panel is rectangular and flat-backed, allowing for seamless integration against vertical surfaces. Its diverse colour palette ranges from deep forest greens to lighter, vibrant shades, mimicking natural growth patterns. This piece provides a structured approach to introducing greenery into indoor environments without the maintenance requirements of live plants.

The download is a 29.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single geometry object or a collection of grouped foliage elements. Users should check the pivot point for precise wall placement and apply a standard material library for the leaves. If the scene performance slows, consider using proxy objects for the individual plant clusters. The scale should be adjusted to fit the specific wall dimensions of the project, with careful attention given to tiling if multiple panels are used to cover larger areas.

This vertical garden panel is ideal for commercial lobbies, office breakout areas, and high-end residential living spaces where biophilic design is requested. It serves as an effective acoustic or visual feature wall, providing a lush, natural aesthetic. Designers often search for living walls or green wall systems when looking to soften hard surfaces in minimalist or contemporary interiors. It pairs well with timber wall panelling, exposed concrete, or minimalist white partitions to create a balanced, modern environment.
