Oriental Decorative Wood and Gold Column Set

A set of seven ornate oriental-style columns in SketchUp, featuring intricate gold dragon motifs wrapped around deep walnut-brown wood shafts. This collection consists of seven distinct vertical columns, each showcasing a rich dark walnut finish on the primary shaft. The central portions are adorned with elaborate, high-relief gold-toned dragon carvings that spiral around the cylindrical form. Bases and capitals vary across the set, incorporating diverse materials including polished stone, textured concrete, and metallic gold accents. These structural elements provide a highly detailed aesthetic, suitable for formal interior spaces that require a focal point. The varied terminal ends allow for integration into different floor and ceiling conditions, maintaining a cohesive yet dynamic visual rhythm.

The download is a 54.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these columns are best managed by assigning each variant to a unique tag for quick visibility toggling. Users should utilise the native scale tool to adjust height while maintaining the proportions of the decorative carvings. For realistic renders, apply high-quality PBR materials to the gold surfaces to capture light reflections effectively. The columns are structured as individual components, allowing for easy placement and alignment along structural axes or as freestanding decorative features within a larger interior scene.
