About this asset

This tropical brown rattan four-blade ceiling fan 3ds Max model features organic, leaf-shaped blades with a distinct woven texture. This ceiling fan features four distinct, leaf-shaped blades constructed from woven rattan, providing a textured, organic aesthetic. The blades are mounted to a central cylindrical metal motor housing finished in a neutral tone, which complements the warm, natural brown hues of the rattan. The overall form is lightweight and airy, reminiscent of tropical architecture and interior design styles. The connection points between the blades and the central hub are minimal, allowing the focus to remain on the intricate weave and the sculptural silhouette of the fan assembly when suspended from a ceiling.

The download is a 5.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the fan assembly is grouped as a single object for easier placement within your ceiling plan. The model is scaled for standard residential ceiling heights, though individual blade rotation or scaling may be adjusted if needed for specific compositions. Apply high-resolution textures to the rattan surfaces to capture the material detail during rendering. Utilize standard pivot points for animating the rotation of the fan blades if required for architectural walkthroughs or cinematic interior presentation sequences.

This ceiling fan is suited for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or covered outdoor terraces where a relaxed, tropical atmosphere is desired. It pairs effectively with natural timber furniture, linen textiles, and layered indoor plants. Designers often search for this style when specifying fixtures for boutique hospitality projects, beach villas, or biophilic residential designs. It functions as a functional focal point in spaces that require air circulation while maintaining a soft, aesthetic presence that avoids the industrial look of standard metal fans.
