Contemporary Beige Fabric and Dark Shell Lounge Armchair

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge armchair features a plush beige fabric seat shell set against a contrasting dark exterior backrest. Defined by its organic, flowing silhouette, this lounge armchair combines a soft, upholstered interior with a firm, dark-toned outer shell. The seat and backrest are integrated into a single, cohesive form that wraps around the user, providing a supportive and comfortable experience. The upholstery displays a fine texture, suggesting a high-quality fabric finish. Slender, dark metal legs provide a minimalist foundation that balances the generous volume of the seat. This piece is designed for visual impact from every angle, with the contrast between the light fabric and the dark outer shell serving as its primary aesthetic feature.

The download is a 54.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material assignment. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient subdivision if higher resolution is required for close-up renders. Users should ensure the pivot point is correctly located at the base of the legs for simple placement on floor surfaces. Mapping coordinates are pre-applied to the fabric and shell components, ensuring textures scale correctly. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment to accurately capture the subtle highlights on the shell.
