Transparent Plastic Shell Dining Chair with Black Metal Base

This 3ds Max model of a transparent plastic shell dining chair features a distinctive black metal eiffel-style base and frame. This dining chair features a single-piece, semi-transparent plastic shell moulded into an organic, ergonomic form that curves to support the back and seat. The shell is mounted onto a slender, black-coated steel wire base, often referred to as an eiffel-style frame. The geometry highlights the contrast between the lightweight, translucent upper section and the intricate, structural wirework beneath. Four rounded glides are fitted to the base of the legs to protect flooring surfaces. Its clean lines and minimalist silhouette make it a versatile addition to various interior design styles, particularly those favouring mid-century modern aesthetics.

Utilize the model as a library asset by merging it into your primary project file, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement and rotation around dining tables.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, compact home offices, or commercial cafe layouts, this chair integrates well into contemporary and mid-century modern design schemes. It pairs effectively with minimalist wooden or glass dining tables, as well as industrial-style workspaces. Designers often search for this piece when specifying seating for open-plan living areas or breakout spaces where a lightweight, non-obstructive visual profile is required. Its timeless shape remains a staple for modern interior projects, offering a balance of functional utility and refined, understated character.
