About this asset

This traditional 3ds Max coffee table features a walnut parquetry top, dual storage drawers, and a lower rattan shelf for storage. Constructed with a focus on classic joinery and warm tones, this rectangular coffee table is defined by its intricate parquetry-patterned walnut veneer top. The apron houses two functional drawers fitted with small, circular brass-finished knobs. A lower shelf, finished in a woven rattan texture, provides additional display space between the four tapered legs. The overall aesthetic leans into traditional warmth, with the wood grain clearly rendered to highlight the natural material quality. Included with the table is a decorative serving tray complete with a teapot and cups, adding a lived-in detail to the model.

The download is a 26.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the object is placed on a flat plane to align with floor geometry. The drawers and tabletop are typically grouped; users may need to ungroup or use sub-object selection to animate the drawer components if required. Mapping for the rattan shelf and the parquetry wood grain is pre-applied, though adjustments to the UVW coordinates may be necessary to match custom lighting setups or scale requirements within the wider interior scene composition.

This piece is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or traditional study environments. It pairs effectively with upholstered sofa sets or leather armchairs, anchoring a conversation area with its substantial presence. Designers searching for coffee tables with storage will find this useful for projects where both aesthetic character and utility are required. It serves as a focal point in formal sitting areas, especially when styled with books, ceramics, or decorative trays to complete the interior composition.
