Traditional Vietnamese Ancestor Altar Scene Set

This traditional altar set for SketchUp features multiple wooden shrine configurations, including ornate screens, tables, and decor. This collection comprises nine distinct altar arrangements and individual components, reflecting traditional Vietnamese interior design motifs. Each piece is crafted from dark-toned wood, featuring intricate lattice screens, elevated platforms, and ceremonial tables. The set includes various altar configurations, ranging from simple wall-mounted units to elaborate floor-standing shrines with integrated backdrop panels. Decorative elements such as wall-mounted framed art, low-profile seating stools, and ceremonial vessels are included to complete the traditional aesthetic. The proportions are balanced, emphasising symmetry and verticality, which are essential characteristics of these sacred memorial spaces within a home.

The download is a 698 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these assets are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and modular assembly within a larger room model. Users can manipulate the scale and orientation of the altar units to fit specific floor plans or wall dimensions. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be adjusted for grain direction or colour intensity to match the lighting environment. It is recommended to use layers or tags to manage the visibility of the various altar configurations while developing the architectural space.
