Modern Stretched Ceiling System with Integrated Lighting

This modular technical ceiling set for SketchUp features three distinct grid and slat panel designs with integrated lighting. This technical ceiling system comprises three rectangular modules designed for recessed installation. Each panel features a clean white perimeter frame equipped with perimeter downlights. The central infill panels vary by module: the first displays a metallic open-grid pattern, the second presents a high-contrast black grid, and the third utilizes horizontal timber slats. Integrated linear LED profiles are flush-mounted within these central sections, providing consistent task or ambient illumination. The modular design ensures a precise, uniform appearance suitable for large-scale interior ceiling applications, combining functional ventilation or acoustic masking aesthetics with modern lighting solutions.

The download is a 625 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these ceiling panels are organized as distinct components, allowing for easy snapping and alignment to grid layouts within your reflected ceiling plan. Users should manage these panels on a dedicated layer to isolate them from structural geometry. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily swapped or adjusted for colour and reflectivity. For rendering workflows, ensure the emissive properties of the linear and spot lights are assigned to the light-emitting surfaces for realistic illumination results.
