About this asset

This 3ds Max living room set features a traditional cane-back sofa, a dark wooden coffee table, and matching side tables with decor. The ensemble centres on a three-seater sofa defined by a dark-stained timber frame and woven rattan back panels. Its deep, curved silhouette is softened by a plain white seat cushion and a selection of patterned scatter cushions. Complementing the seating is a low-profile rectangular coffee table with two storage drawers and a polished top, alongside two matching side tables. The scene is finished with two potted orchid arrangements and a decorative hookah. The dark wood finish contrasts against the light upholstery and natural rattan textures, creating a balanced, formal aesthetic.

The download is a 75.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the native pivot points to ensure accurate placement on the floor plane. The model is organised by object type, allowing for easy separation if individual pieces are required. Apply custom textures to the upholstery if specific patterns are needed for a project, and ensure the lighting setup accounts for the reflective surface of the coffee table to achieve realistic highlights. The geometry is clean, facilitating efficient distribution and scaling within larger interior renders.

This furniture configuration is suited for traditional or transitional residential interiors, such as formal living rooms or grand parlours. It also finds application in boutique hotel lobbies or waiting areas where a sophisticated, heritage-inspired look is desired. Architects and interior designers might search for this set when specifying pieces that blend wood and cane materials, or when looking to quickly populate a scene with a cohesive, ready-to-render arrangement. It pairs effectively with neutral wall colours and classic interior architectural details.
