Modern Cream and Taupe Hallway Storage Unit with Bench

This modern SketchUp model features a large-scale hallway storage unit with an integrated seating bench in a cream and taupe finish. The unit is a floor-to-ceiling composition designed for an entryway or mudroom. It features a balanced layout with closed cabinetry flanking a central open alcove that includes a padded seating bench, a slatted back panel, and overhead coat storage. The colour palette combines soft cream tones with a contrasting taupe horizontal band that runs across the entire unit. Open shelving sections are integrated to provide display space for decor and personal items. The design employs clean, handleless doors and a minimalist aesthetic that prioritises visual continuity and functional organisation within a residential interior.

The download is a 106 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, this component is best handled as a single group or a nested set of components for easy placement along a wall. Users should check the model origin to ensure it aligns with the floor plane. Materials are applied via the material browser, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood or laminate finishes. The geometry is clean, making it suitable for both quick conceptual massing and more detailed interior visualisations where precise joinery details are required for client presentations.

This storage unit is ideal for residential hallway, mudroom, or entryway projects. It serves as a functional focal point, providing essential storage for shoes, coats, and personal accessories while offering a comfortable seating area. Interior designers often use such joinery to maximise space in tight circulation areas. It pairs well with minimalist decor, neutral wall colours, and modern lighting fixtures.
