About this asset

This traditional 3ds Max model of a five-blade ceiling fan in a polished gold metal finish adds a refined functional detail to interiors. The ceiling fan features a classic design profile with a central motor housing and five straight, flat blades. The entire assembly is finished in a high-gloss polished gold, suggesting a luxury or traditional aesthetic. Its construction includes a circular mounting canopy, a short downrod, and a decorative motor casing with integrated blade brackets. The proportions are balanced for residential ceiling heights, with the blades angled to provide effective air circulation. The clean, unadorned surface of the blades and the compact motor housing ensure a timeless look suitable for various period-inspired or formal room settings.

The download is a 6.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical object naming, allowing for easy selection of the fan blades and motor housing for animation or material adjustments. Users should attach the assembly to the ceiling plane using standard snap tools. The gold material can be adjusted via the material editor to control reflectivity and glossiness to match specific lighting environments. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the center of the canopy for simple rotation-based animation within the scene hierarchy.

This ceiling fan is intended for residential projects, particularly in living rooms, master bedrooms, or formal dining areas where a touch of metallic elegance is required. It pairs well with traditional or neoclassical interior schemes, complementing brass hardware or gold-accented lighting fixtures. Professionals searching for cooling solutions that double as decorative features will find this asset useful for high-end residential visualisations and boutique hotel lobby concepts. It integrates seamlessly into scenes requiring a classic, functional overhead element that avoids the modern minimalist aesthetic.
