About this asset

This neoclassical square plaster ceiling panel is a SketchUp model featuring a central oval relief framed by intricate decorative moulding. This square ceiling panel features a classic neoclassical design, defined by a deep central oval indentation surrounded by geometric corner detailing. The frame is finished with fine bead-and-reel moulding, providing a sense of depth and architectural refinement. The piece is rendered in a monochromatic beige tone, highlighting the soft shadows created by the relief work. Its proportions are perfectly square, designed to be tiled or repeated across a ceiling surface to create a coffered or ornamental effect. The geometry is clean, with well-defined edges suitable for high-detail architectural visualisations.

The download is a 4.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this panel into a SketchUp scene, import the component and place it using the move tool with snapping enabled at the corners for seamless tiling. Users should place the panel on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and performance efficiently. The geometry is structured for easy alignment, allowing for the quick creation of large-scale ceiling patterns. Materials can be adjusted or replaced to match specific project finishes, such as painted plaster or faux stone textures, using the standard materials editor.

This panel is ideal for high-end residential projects, luxury hotel lobbies, or heritage building refurbishments where period-accurate detailing is required. It works effectively in formal dining rooms, libraries, or grand foyers to add architectural character. Designers searching for coffered ceiling solutions, ornamental moulding, or classical interior features will find this component useful for establishing a sophisticated, traditional aesthetic. It pairs well with period-appropriate cornices, wall panelling, and chandeliers to complete a cohesive, high-detail interior scheme for both renovation and new build developments.
