About this asset

This traditional 3-seater sofa features a dark wood frame with a rattan back and white upholstery, modelled natively for 3ds Max. This elegant 3-seater sofa showcases a refined traditional silhouette defined by a curved, exposed dark wood frame. The backrest is composed of intricate woven rattan panels, providing a light, airy contrast to the solid timber structure. A deep, single-cushion seat upholstered in a crisp white fabric offers a clean aesthetic, while the ensemble is completed by a series of scatter cushions in varying grey geometric and textured patterns. The cabriole-style legs and carved details along the apron emphasize its classic heritage design, making it a sophisticated focal point for formal interior spaces.

The download is a 110 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into 3ds Max, merge the model into your scene and ensure the unit scale is consistent with your project settings. The geometry is organized for efficient layering, allowing for easy material assignment or texture adjustments on the upholstery and rattan elements. Utilize standard lighting setups to highlight the natural sheen of the wood frame and the depth of the woven backrest, ensuring that the fabric textures are properly mapped to maintain realism in close-up render views.

Designed for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or formal drawing rooms, this sofa pairs well with classic side tables and antique-inspired decor. It serves as an excellent piece for projects requiring a touch of refined, timeless character.
