Contemporary Grey Velvet Bar Stool with Brass Accents

This contemporary 3ds Max bar stool features grey velvet upholstery and a black-finished frame with refined brass hardware accents. Defined by its sculptural, mid-height backrest and integrated armrests, this bar stool balances comfort with a streamlined silhouette. The seat is upholstered in a textured grey velvet, providing a soft tactile quality that contrasts with the rigid, dark-finished metal frame. Four slender legs taper towards the floor, terminating in polished brass ferrules. A structural footrest ring, also finished in brass, provides both stability and a decorative focal point. The proportions are designed for standard counter heights, offering a sophisticated look suitable for high-end hospitality environments or refined residential kitchen islands.

The download is a 6.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the file is merged into your scene using the 'merge' command to maintain material settings. The velvet texture should be verified in the slate material editor to ensure correct mapping and reflection values. As this is a single asset, it is best handled as a separate layer for easy manipulation or cloning. Adjust the pivot point to the base of the legs to simplify placement on floor surfaces, and consider applying a subdivision modifier for close-up renders.

This piece is ideal for luxury kitchen islands, cocktail lounges, and boutique hotel bar areas. Its elegant profile pairs well with marble-top counters, dark timber joinery, or minimalist interiors requiring a touch of metallic warmth. Architects and designers can use this stool in projects requiring high-end, contemporary seating solutions.
