Traditional Dark Wood Altar Cabinet with Ornate Screens

This traditional dark wood altar cabinet, provided as a SketchUp scene, features intricate lattice screens and detailed carved elements. This traditional altar assembly is constructed from dark-toned wood, featuring a central shelf unit flanked by folding, ornately carved lattice screens. The structure is finished with a detailed top cornice and includes integrated pendant lighting fixtures. The central altar surface is designed for ceremonial objects, displayed here with bowls and candle holders, while a low stool sits beneath the primary shelf. The woodwork exhibits fine craftsmanship, with geometric fretwork patterns consistent throughout the vertical panels and the overhead frieze, creating a cohesive, symmetrical composition suitable for a dedicated ceremonial or meditative space.

The download is a 56.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this scene is organised as a cohesive component set, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a larger interior model. Users should manage the high-detail geometry by keeping the model on a dedicated layer to maintain viewport performance. Materials are applied as standard textures; ensure that lighting is adjusted to complement the integrated pendant elements. Scaling should be verified against standard architectural heights to ensure the screens and shelf unit align correctly with the surrounding room dimensions and ceiling height.
