Traditional Dark Brown Leather Chesterfield Sofa

This traditional dark brown leather Chesterfield sofa for 3ds Max features deep button tufting and classic rolled arms. This classic Chesterfield sofa is defined by its deep button-tufted backrest and inner arms, creating a distinct diamond-pattern texture. The piece features iconic rolled arms accented with decorative pleated detailing where the arm meets the front panel. It is upholstered in a rich, dark brown leather, providing a smooth finish across the seat cushions and a weathered, tactile quality on the base. The sofa is supported by low-profile, turned wooden feet in a matching dark finish, which provide stability and maintain the low, grounded silhouette characteristic of this timeless furniture style.

The download is a 14.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure this model is scaled correctly to your scene units before placement. The leather material is mapped to the geometry, allowing for adjustments to glossiness or reflection maps to suit your specific lighting environment. Use the pivot point at the base for easy alignment against walls or within seating arrangements. If the scene requires a different aesthetic, the material IDs can be isolated to update the leather finish or wood stain on the feet without affecting the underlying geometry.

Ideal for sophisticated residential interiors, private libraries, or executive office settings, this sofa serves as a commanding focal point in a formal living room or reception area. It pairs effectively with mahogany side tables, Persian rugs, or brass floor lamps to enhance a traditional or classic design scheme. Professionals searching for period-inspired furniture, vintage-style seating, or high-end lounge assets will find this piece suitable for projects requiring a sense of history, permanence, and comfort in both hospitality and high-end residential design.
