About this asset

This traditional 3-seater sofa set, modelled in 3ds Max, features black tufted velvet upholstery and ornate gold-accented timber details. This classic lounge set comprises a deep-seated three-seater sofa and a circular pedestal side table. The sofa showcases a button-tufted backrest and rolled arms, upholstered in a rich black velvet textile. Its frame is highlighted by intricate gold-finished carvings along the front apron and legs. The accompanying side table echoes this aesthetic, featuring a circular glass top with a decorative gold trim, supported by a central pedestal base with four scrolled legs. Both pieces share a cohesive design language defined by dark timber finishes and refined metallic ornamentation, suitable for formal interior settings.

Users can import this 3ds Max asset into their scenes to populate formal living areas or hotel lounges. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy separation of the sofa and table components. Materials are mapped to standard slots, enabling quick adjustments to the velvet texture or the gold finish reflectivity. Ensure the scene scale is set to consistent units before merging to maintain accurate proportions relative to other furniture pieces in your project environment.

It pairs well with classic interior palettes, dark wood flooring, and opulent wall mouldings. Designers often search for this type of furniture when curating neoclassical or traditional living room layouts, seeking pieces that provide both comfort and visual gravitas. It is a versatile choice for visualising elegant, curated spaces where a sense of permanence and historical influence is required for the final render.
