About this asset

This Scandinavian 3ds Max dining set features a round natural wood table, four upholstered chairs, and a woven pendant light. This dining set comprises a circular timber table with tapered legs, accompanied by four chairs featuring light-toned wooden frames and off-white fabric upholstery on the seats and backrests. The set is completed by a large, conical pendant light constructed from woven rattan or similar fibre material. The aesthetic is defined by its clean, organic lines and a light, natural colour palette, typical of Nordic-inspired interiors. The proportions are balanced for intimate dining spaces, with the chairs designed for comfort and the light fixture providing a focal point for the arrangement.

The download is a 12 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 6 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your scene and ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned for easy placement. The geometry is organised by object, allowing for individual selection of the chairs and table. Apply your preferred materials to the wood and fabric components to match your lighting conditions. Given the natural textures, use high-resolution maps for the rattan light to maintain detail in close-up renders, and adjust the light intensity to suit your interior environment.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, compact kitchen areas, or boutique cafe settings, this set brings a warm and inviting atmosphere to any project. It pairs well with light oak flooring, neutral wall palettes, and indoor greenery. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying scandinavian, japandi, or modern rustic interiors. Whether for a high-end apartment or a hospitality fit-out, this set provides a cohesive, ready-to-use solution for creating functional and stylish dining zones that require minimal scene setup.
