Contemporary Green Velvet Wingback Armchair with Cushion

This contemporary green velvet armchair for 3ds Max features a distinctive wingback silhouette and a matching lumbar cushion. Defined by its sculptural, flared wingback profile, this contemporary armchair offers a sophisticated aesthetic through its deep green velvet upholstery. The fabric exhibits a soft sheen, with subtle gathering along the backrest providing a tailored, tactile quality. The seat is complemented by a rectangular lumbar cushion in a slightly lighter teal tone, enhancing comfort and visual depth. Supported by slender, dark-finished metal legs that splay slightly outward, the chair maintains a lightweight appearance despite its generous proportions. The overall design prioritises ergonomic support while serving as a bold, colourful statement piece for interior schemes.

The download is a 2.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration. Users should ensure the object is placed at the correct floor level using the snap-to-grid tools. The velvet material is mapped with appropriate falloff and reflection parameters to capture the characteristic highlights of the textile. Layers should be organised to separate the chair geometry from the lumbar cushion, allowing for easy adjustment or replacement. Lighting setups should utilise soft, diffuse sources to highlight the fabric texture and the subtle curves of the wingback frame.
