About this asset

This 3ds Max lounge chair features a natural wood frame with a woven rope backrest and upholstered cushions, ideal for interior design. This organic lounge chair is defined by its circular bent-wood frame, which supports a complex, intricate network of white woven rope. The design is grounded by a sturdy timber base featuring splayed legs. Comfort is provided by two distinct cream-coloured fabric cushions: a small, rectangular headrest pillow secured at the top of the frame and a curved seat pad that follows the chair's rounded silhouette. The juxtaposition of the rigid wooden structure against the delicate, web-like rope pattern creates a balanced, airy aesthetic suitable for high-end residential and boutique hospitality environments.

The download is an 8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your scene and ensure the unit scale matches your project settings. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the frame, rope, and cushion components. Apply custom materials to the timber frame to match existing floor finishes or joinery. For realistic lighting, utilise a high-dynamic-range image to capture the subtle shadows created by the rope weave on the surrounding surfaces.

This lounge chair is an excellent choice for creating a focal point in a living room, bedroom, or a quiet reading corner. Its sculptural form pairs well with minimalist or mid-century modern interiors, often used alongside a low coffee table or a floor lamp. Professionals searching for an accent chair with a distinct, organic profile will find this piece effective for staging high-end apartments, hotel suites, or contemporary residential projects requiring a unique, handcrafted aesthetic that balances texture and form.
