About this asset

This rustic SketchUp coffee table features a natural live-edge wood slab top supported by minimalist black metal hairpin-style legs. This coffee table showcases a raw, organic aesthetic through its thick, live-edge wood slab tabletop. The surface retains the natural grain, knots, and irregular perimeter of the original timber cross-section, celebrating its authentic texture and warm, earthy tones. Supporting the heavy slab are three slender, powder-coated black metal hairpin legs, which provide a clean, industrial contrast to the rugged wood. The low-profile design emphasises the horizontal mass of the timber, making it a focal point in any interior space that prioritises natural materials and a grounded, tactile furniture selection.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, this model is best utilised as a component. You can easily adjust the scale or orientation to fit specific floor plan layouts. The wood texture is mapped to the irregular geometry, so ensure your UV settings are preserved when applying custom materials or adjusting the scale. The hairpin legs are grouped separately from the wooden top, allowing for quick modifications to leg height or material finishes without affecting the primary structure of the table.

Ideal for residential living rooms, this table pairs well with neutral-toned soft seating or leather upholstery to enhance a rustic or contemporary interior. It functions effectively in hospitality settings, such as boutique hotel lobbies or relaxed lounge areas where a natural, handcrafted aesthetic is desired. Professionals searching for organic coffee tables, live-edge slab furniture, or rustic accent pieces will find this model useful for adding character to projects that require a balance between raw, natural beauty and modern industrial design elements.
