About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a rustic square coffee table in distressed timber, complete with a nested two-piece decorative bowl set. This square coffee table showcases a rugged, rustic aesthetic defined by its heavily weathered timber tabletop. The design is grounded by four substantial turned legs that support both the main surface and a lower storage shelf, providing a balanced, sturdy profile. The wood displays a rich, deep brown finish with visible grain patterns and texture. Included in the set is a pair of nested bowls with a dark exterior and a metallic, reflective interior, which sit centrally on the table to provide a refined contrast to the raw, organic feel of the wood.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset, ensure the object is placed using the native pivot point at the base for accurate floor alignment. The model is organised into logical layers, separating the table structure from the decorative bowl set, allowing for easy placement or removal. Users should verify that texture maps are correctly linked to the material editor. For optimal results, apply a soft HDR lighting setup to highlight the reflective interior of the bowls while maintaining the matte, tactile quality of the timber surfaces.

This piece is ideal for creating a warm, grounded atmosphere in residential living room designs, particularly those with a farmhouse or rustic interior style. It functions well as a central focal point when paired with deep-seated leather sofas or neutral-toned linen upholstery. Professionals looking for assets to populate casual lounge areas, mountain retreats, or country-style interiors will find this model versatile. It is well-suited for architectural visualisations requiring authentic, lived-in furniture elements that add character to a scene without appearing overly polished or clinical.
