About this asset

This rustic 3ds Max fireplace wall features textured stone cladding, integrated log storage, and curated decorative accessories. This feature wall assembly is defined by its rugged, irregular stone cladding that provides a heavy, tactile aesthetic. A horizontal, black-framed linear recess serves as the firebox, currently styled with a stacked log arrangement. The composition is grounded by three graduated ceramic vessels in a muted, neutral finish. Beside the wall, a woven rattan basket filled with dried grasses and a draped textile adds a soft, organic contrast to the hard stone surfaces. The overall design prioritizes texture and natural materials, suitable for creating a focal point in a living space.

The download is a 37.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is aligned to the base for precise placement against your architectural wall geometry. The asset utilizes grouped elements; use the layer manager to isolate the decorative accessories if you wish to adjust their position or swap them out for alternative props. Check the material slots for the stone cladding to ensure the displacement maps are correctly assigned, providing the necessary depth and surface variation for high-quality close-up renders.

Ideal for residential interior projects, this fireplace wall works effectively in living rooms, lounges, or master suites where a rustic or wabi-sabi aesthetic is desired. It pairs seamlessly with natural timber flooring, linen upholstery, and warm ambient lighting.
