About this asset

This 3ds Max model of a rectangular walnut coffee table features a glass top and traditional turned legs for a classic aesthetic. This coffee table showcases a rectangular silhouette defined by a rich walnut-finished timber frame. The design incorporates a clear glass top insert that rests flush within the upper frame, providing a clean surface while revealing the structural detailing beneath. A slatted lower shelf, supported by four elegantly turned legs, offers additional storage or display space. The proportions are balanced for standard lounge seating arrangements, with the wood grain visible throughout the frame construction. The inclusion of decorative coffee cups in the model demonstrates the intended scale and functional use of the tabletop surface.

In 3ds Max, this asset is structured with distinct object layers for the timber frame and glass insert, allowing for easy material assignment or modification. The model is scaled to real-world units, making it straightforward to drop into a scene and align with existing upholstery. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the legs for precise placement on floor surfaces. Applying a glass material with appropriate refraction settings will ensure realistic light transmission through the top surface during rendering.

Ideal for traditional or transitional living room interiors, this coffee table serves as a central anchor in seating groups. It pairs effectively with upholstered sofas and armchairs in residential projects or refined hotel lounges. Professionals searching for a classic wooden coffee table will find this piece useful for staging formal sitting areas or boutique hospitality spaces. The combination of glass and wood ensures it remains visually light, suitable for both compact apartments and spacious drawing rooms where a touch of warmth is required.
