About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a cylindrical ottoman stool upholstered in light grey fabric with clean horizontal seams. This cylindrical ottoman stool features a structured, drum-like silhouette defined by three distinct horizontal segments. The upholstery is a soft, light grey fabric, providing a tactile, matte finish that complements its minimalist form. The top surface is flat and circular, offering a stable resting area, while the base is slightly recessed, creating a subtle floating effect. The clean, geometric construction and neutral tone make it a versatile piece for various interior styles, from modern residential lounges to boutique hotel suites. Its compact size ensures it functions effectively as a footrest, extra seating, or a decorative accent.

The download is a 13.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into your 3ds Max project, import the file and ensure the material library is correctly linked to maintain the fabric shaders. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within a scene or as a component of a larger furniture arrangement. Users should verify the scale against their interior floor plans before finalising, and consider applying a subtle noise or displacement map to the texture if close-up camera angles are required for high-fidelity architectural visualisations.

This ottoman is suited for high-end residential projects, particularly in master bedrooms or contemporary living rooms where a neutral, soft-textured accent is required. It pairs well with modern lounge chairs, low-profile sofas, and minimalist bedroom schemes. Designers often specify such pieces for walk-in closets, vanity areas, or hotel lobbies as flexible, space-saving seating.
