About this asset

This SketchUp lounge chair and side table set features a lightweight rattan frame and contrasting black and white striped cushions. This lounge set consists of a low-profile chair and a matching circular side table, both constructed from bent rattan with a natural finish. The chair features a wide, rounded backrest with woven cane detailing and a low seat, complemented by a small headrest cushion and a circular seat pad. Both cushions are upholstered in a bold black and white striped fabric. The side table echoes the chair's aesthetic, featuring a slatted circular top supported by a splayed, lightweight rattan base. The proportions are compact, ideal for creating a relaxed, informal seating corner in a living space.

The download is a 34.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised as a component group, allowing for easy placement and scaling within your interior scenes. The rattan texture is applied with appropriate mapping for realistic rendering, while the fabric cushions can be easily adjusted or swapped using the native material editor. Ensure the model is placed on the floor plane and use the 'explode' function only if custom modifications to the rattan frame geometry are required for specific project constraints or custom detailing needs.

This set is suited for residential living rooms, sunrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies where a relaxed, organic aesthetic is desired. It pairs well with neutral interior palettes, indoor plants, and soft textiles to enhance a scandinavian or wabi-sabi style. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying pieces for casual reading nooks or conservatory spaces. The natural material finish provides a warm, tactile contrast to modern architectural elements like concrete walls or minimalist flooring, making it a versatile addition to various interior design projects.
