About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two round pieces with reflective black glass tops and solid pedestal bases. This set includes two circular coffee tables of varying heights and diameters, designed with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Each unit is defined by a minimalist cylindrical base in a matte black finish, supporting a smooth, reflective black glass tabletop. The tables are intended to be used as a nested or grouped arrangement, offering versatile surface space for living areas. The proportions are balanced, with the wider, lower table complementing the taller, narrower one to create a tiered visual effect suitable for modern interior schemes that favour sleek, monochrome furniture pieces.

The download is a 10.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these tables are organised as a group with clear hierarchy, allowing for easy placement and alignment within a scene. The glass and metal materials are set up with appropriate reflection and glossiness maps to respond accurately to interior lighting. Users can adjust the base height or scale the set to suit specific floor plans. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor level for efficient snapping to surface planes during the layout phase of a project.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or high-end office reception areas, this coffee table set pairs well with low-profile sectional sofas and minimalist interior decor. Designers often search for these pieces when styling contemporary open-plan spaces, looking for functional yet sculptural elements that do not clutter the visual field. They are effective in staging projects where a sophisticated, dark-toned accent is required to anchor a seating group or to provide a surface for magazines, laptops, and decorative accessories.
