About this asset

This black Range Rover Velar SUV 3ds Max model features a detailed exterior with a panoramic sunroof and distinct LED headlights. This high-fidelity 3D representation of a modern SUV captures the sleek, aerodynamic profile characteristic of the Velar model. The exterior is finished in a deep black paint, contrasted by dark alloy wheels and trim details. Visible design elements include the signature front grille, slim LED headlamp clusters, and a large panoramic glass roof panel. Proportions are accurate to the real-world vehicle, with sharp body lines and recessed door handles that contribute to its minimalist aesthetic. The model includes exterior detailing such as side mirrors and window glass, providing a clean look for architectural visualisations.

The download is a 59 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this vehicle into a 3ds Max scene, place it on a flat plane representing the site's ground surface to ensure correct contact shadows. Users should check the scale against scene units to maintain realism. The materials are organised for easy adjustment, allowing for quick modifications to the paint finish or wheel colour. If rendering in a daylight scene, ensure the environment lighting is set to reflect off the metallic body panels and glass surfaces for maximum visual impact.
