About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a neutral beige fabric upholstery accented by contrasting mustard cushions. Defined by clean, linear geometry, this contemporary 3-seater sofa offers a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The frame is fully upholstered in a textured beige fabric, providing a soft, tactile finish. It features a deep seat with two primary base cushions and a matching backrest, complemented by two smaller, mustard-toned throw cushions that add a vibrant touch of colour. The silhouette is boxy and structured, supported by slim, minimalist metal legs that lift the base slightly off the floor, maintaining a light and airy profile within the living space.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, users should ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor planes. Scale should be verified against standard furniture dimensions before final layout. The fabric texture is applied as a seamless material, allowing for adjustment of tiling or bump maps to suit specific lighting conditions. It is recommended to keep the geometry on a dedicated 'Furniture' layer to maintain project organisation and improve viewport performance during complex rendering tasks.

This sofa is ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas where a clean, approachable aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, neutral area rugs, and floor lamps to create a cohesive seating arrangement. Professionals searching for versatile, contemporary furniture will find this piece useful for staging interior visualisations, architectural presentations, and high-end residential design projects. Its neutral base allows it to blend seamlessly into various colour schemes while the mustard accents provide a focal point.
