About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a potted deciduous tree with a slender, winding trunk housed in a minimalist grey cylindrical planter. This decorative indoor plant features a naturalistic, multi-branched canopy with dense, small-leaf foliage. The trunk exhibits a gentle, organic curve, giving it a light and airy silhouette. It is presented in a tall, clean-lined cylindrical container with a smooth, matte grey finish. The soil surface within the pot is finished with a textured, granular appearance, adding to the overall realism of the piece. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for corners, entrance halls, or as a focal point in contemporary interior spaces where a touch of nature is required.

The download is a 17.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically managed as a standalone object or proxy to maintain scene performance. Users can easily scale the plant to suit specific ceiling heights or floor-standing requirements. Material slots are pre-assigned, allowing for quick adjustments to the leaf translucency or the planter's surface finish. It is best practice to group the tree and the pot together before merging them into a larger architectural project to ensure proper placement and orientation within the scene hierarchy.

This tree is ideal for bringing life to residential living rooms, modern corporate lobbies, and high-end retail showrooms. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, such as low-profile lounge chairs or sleek console tables, to soften hard architectural lines. Designers often specify this type of asset for interior visualizations, hotel reception areas, or breakout spaces in open-plan offices. When searching for this, professionals might use terms like indoor greenery, decorative potted tree, or architectural foliage to find suitable assets for their interior renderings.
