About this asset

This neoclassical decorative ceiling panel for SketchUp features a detailed central medallion and a repeating quatrefoil pattern. The panel is defined by a deep, rectangular frame with stepped moulding, surrounding a central circular medallion. The medallion itself incorporates a classic floral motif at its heart, encircled by a ring of fine, radial ribbing. The field surrounding the medallion is populated by a repeating quatrefoil lattice, highlighted in gold against a warm brown ground. The composition balances traditional geometric precision with ornate relief work, creating a focal point suitable for grand interiors. Its proportions are designed for high-ceilinged spaces where architectural ornamentation serves as a primary aesthetic element.

The download is a 1.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a discrete component that can be snapped directly to the underside of a ceiling plane. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match the room dimensions before applying materials. Because the panel is built with clean geometry, it is straightforward to apply custom textures or adjust the gold highlights using the material editor. It is recommended to place the panel on a dedicated layer to maintain scene organisation when managing complex ceiling designs.

This panel is ideal for luxury residential projects, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end dining rooms requiring a touch of classical elegance. It pairs well with traditional crown moulding, ornate wall panelling, and grand chandeliers. Architects and interior designers might search for this when detailing coffered ceilings, historical renovations, or formal living spaces. Its versatile design allows it to be used as a standalone feature or arrayed to create a larger, more complex ceiling treatment in grand reception areas or banquet halls.
