About this asset

This modern beige and orange SketchUp reception desk features a playful whale motif, ideal for pediatric or nursery environments. This reception desk is defined by its rounded, child-friendly profile and layered, dual-tone aesthetic. The primary structure is finished in a soft, matte beige, while the recessed base is accented in a warm orange tone. A raised service counter element sits atop the main body, providing a clear boundary for transactions. The front panel is decorated with a series of white, minimalist whale graphics, enhancing its suitability for youth-oriented spaces. The overall form is clean and approachable, avoiding sharp edges to ensure safety in high-traffic areas frequented by children.

The download is a 83.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a floor plan. Users should verify the scale upon insertion to ensure the desk height aligns with project-specific requirements. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily modified or swapped to match the colour palette of the surrounding interior design. It is recommended to place the desk on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the development of interior elevations and 3D visualisations.

This unit is designed for use in pediatric clinics, nursery school lobbies, and children's activity centres. It serves as a focal point for check-in areas, pairing well with soft-coloured wall finishes and playful interior decor. When searching for this asset, professionals might look for terms such as 'pediatric reception desk', 'nursery service counter', or 'child-friendly furniture'.
