About this asset

This oriental-style event backdrop scene for SketchUp features a bold red partition with gold metallic detailing and floral accents. Designed as a ceremonial focal point, this backdrop consists of a large, multi-panel wall finished in deep red. It incorporates intricate circular cut-outs, gold-toned phoenix motifs, and traditional lattice patterns. The composition is balanced by clusters of red floral arrangements and bamboo stalks positioned at the base and within recessed sections. Suspended paper-style lanterns provide a soft, warm lighting element within the central circular aperture. The entire assembly sits on a matching red carpet base, creating a cohesive, high-impact visual display suitable for formal celebrations and cultural event settings.

The download is a 25.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this scene is structured as a collection of grouped components, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a larger event space. Users should manage the high-density vegetation and intricate metallic geometry by placing them on dedicated layers to maintain viewport performance. Adjusting the global illumination or adding point lights near the lanterns will enhance the depth of the gold accents and the overall atmospheric quality of the render.

This installation is ideal for luxury hospitality projects, wedding venue planning, and cultural event design. It serves as an effective stage backdrop or photo opportunity area in hotels, banquet halls, and exhibition spaces. Professionals seeking a thematic oriental aesthetic will find this asset useful for visualising festive, high-end environments. It pairs well with minimalist seating or additional floral decor to complete a sophisticated, culturally inspired event setup in architectural presentations or commercial interior design schemes.
