About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a traditional oriental altar cabinet set, complete with a dark wood finish and detailed carved accents. This traditional oriental altar set comprises a primary console-style cabinet and a secondary, smaller tiered unit, both finished in a deep, dark wood stain. The design incorporates intricate fretwork patterns along the aprons and frame, typical of classical furniture styles. A tall, integrated back panel provides a formal backdrop for the arrangement. The set includes various decorative accessories, such as a central Buddha figurine, ceramic vessels, candlesticks, and ritual items, all arranged to create a complete, balanced composition suitable for interior visualisation of culturally specific living spaces or traditional homes.

The download is an 18.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised as a cohesive group, allowing for easy placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot points to ensure correct alignment with floor planes or wall surfaces. Materials are applied using standard mapping techniques, and the model can be scaled to fit specific room dimensions. For optimal rendering, ensure that the light sources are positioned to highlight the carved wood details and the reflective surfaces of the included ceramic and metal decorative accessories.

This altar cabinet is intended for residential projects, specifically within living rooms or dedicated prayer spaces where traditional or oriental design themes are required.
