About this asset

This Japanese-style tea room scene for SketchUp features a minimalist dining arrangement integrated with a tranquil indoor rock garden. The scene is defined by its focus on natural materials and a serene, balanced atmosphere. A large, linear timber dining table serves as the focal point, paired with a low-profile upholstered bench and a sculptural wooden chair. Behind the seating area, a raised stone-clad platform houses a dry landscape rock garden with mossy boulders and a Japanese maple, creating a strong indoor-outdoor connection. The palette is composed of warm walnut tones, textured beige textiles, and cool grey stone surfaces, all anchored by a striped area rug that reinforces the room's calm, deliberate geometry.

The download is a 170 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilize this SketchUp model as a foundational layout for high-end residential or hospitality interiors. The file is structured to allow for easy adjustment of lighting parameters and material textures within the native environment. Users should manage the scene using layers to isolate the furniture from the structural elements and planting, ensuring smooth navigation. When integrating this into larger projects, ensure the textures are correctly mapped to maintain the integrity of the wood grain and stone finishes during final rendering passes.
