About this asset

This off-white rattan side table is a SketchUp model featuring a delicate, woven cylindrical frame and a circular top surface. Constructed with a light, airy aesthetic, this round side table is composed entirely of bent rattan rods finished in a crisp off-white tone. The design features a continuous circular tabletop edge supported by a series of vertical arched members that create a rhythmic, open-work base. A secondary horizontal ring reinforces the structure midway, ensuring stability while maintaining the piece's slender, organic silhouette. The craftsmanship highlights the natural texture of the material, which is finished uniformly to suit bright, contemporary or bohemian interiors where a touch of warmth and tactile detail is required.

The download is a 12.6 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised as a clean group for easy placement in your scene. Users should check the model orientation upon import, as the geometry is lightweight and ready for quick integration into larger living room or bedroom layouts. Apply custom material overrides if you wish to adjust the off-white finish to a natural wood or painted colour, and ensure your light setup accounts for the intricate shadows cast by the open rattan structure.

Ideal for residential living areas, covered terraces, or boutique hotel lounges, this side table serves as a versatile accent piece. It pairs effectively with low-slung lounge chairs or as a bedside table in a relaxed, coastal-inspired bedroom scheme. Designers often reach for this type of furniture when specifying organic, textured elements to break up the rigidity of modern spaces. It is a frequent choice for projects requiring a light, portable, and visually unobtrusive surface for books, lamps, or small decor items.
