Japanese Pond Garden Scene with Waterfall and Stones

This 3ds Max scene features three distinct Japanese-style pond garden arrangements complete with waterfalls, rock formations, and trees. Comprising three individual circular landscape modules, this 3ds Max scene captures the essence of traditional Japanese water gardens. Each arrangement incorporates a structured water feature with a cascading waterfall, rugged natural stone formations, and lush, varied vegetation including small trees and shrubbery. The circular layout provides a self-contained aesthetic, with stepping stones integrated into the pond surface and carefully placed mossy rocks. The composition balances open water with dense, organic plantings, creating a peaceful, contemplative atmosphere suitable for high-quality architectural visualisations where a refined, naturalistic exterior focal point is required.

The download is a 477 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate these pre-assembled modules directly into larger site plans or exterior scenes within 3ds Max. The assets are organised to allow for easy placement and rotation, with textures and materials mapped to the geometry for realistic water and stone rendering. Users should ensure their global illumination and environment settings are calibrated to complement the existing light properties of the scene, allowing for quick insertion and rendering without the need to model complex landscape elements from scratch.
