Asian Interior Decor Scene with Scroll Paintings and Caged Lamps

This 3ds Max interior decor scene features traditional paper wall scrolls, metal cage lamps, and a pebble floor arrangement. The scene comprises three vertical paper scrolls depicting landscape ink paintings, suspended by thin cords against a dark backdrop. Complementing these are two vintage-style wire birdcage lamps, each containing a warm-toned Edison-style bulb. A black ceramic vase holding dried lotus pods and a piece of weathered driftwood add textural contrast. The base is finished with a layer of smooth river stones, creating a grounded, meditative aesthetic. These elements are arranged to evoke a sense of balance and tranquility, typical of minimalist Asian-inspired interiors where natural textures and soft, atmospheric lighting are central to the visual composition.

The download is a 48.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised for efficient scene assembly. Each object is grouped logically, allowing users to move or scale the scrolls, lamps, and stones independently to suit specific wall dimensions or floor plans. The lighting components are pre-configured with light sources, requiring only minor adjustments to intensity or colour temperature to match the global illumination of your project. Applying custom materials to the stone base or adjusting the scroll textures is straightforward via the standard material editor, ensuring seamless integration into your wider architectural render.
