About this asset

This contemporary floor-length curtain set in SketchUp features layered off-white fabric panels for a versatile window treatment. This window treatment assembly comprises a set of floor-length curtains featuring both opaque side panels and a central sheer layer. The fabric is rendered with consistent, soft folds that suggest a natural drape, providing a clean and minimalist aesthetic suitable for various interior styles. The off-white colour palette ensures a neutral appearance that integrates easily into diverse colour schemes. The geometry is structured to represent a standard wall-mounted track system, with the panels gathered to create a sense of depth and realism in a 3D environment.

The download is a 17.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed as a standalone group or component to allow for easy scaling to match specific window widths and ceiling heights. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for window treatments to facilitate visibility control during the design process. Applying high-resolution fabric textures or modifying the material transparency settings will help achieve the desired light-filtering effect in final renders, particularly when paired with appropriate interior lighting setups.

These curtains are suitable for residential projects, including living rooms, bedrooms, and dining spaces, as well as hospitality interiors like hotel suites. They pair effectively with modern furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard surfaces like wood or stone flooring. Professionals should search for window treatments, drapes, or interior textiles when looking to add realism to architectural visualisations. The neutral design makes them an adaptable choice for both minimalist and contemporary schemes, ensuring a professional finish in any interior staging.
