Modern White and Blush Sideboard with Timber Screen

This modern sideboard set for SketchUp features integrated timber slat screens, providing a functional storage and divider solution. This storage set comprises two distinct sideboard units, each topped with a vertical timber slat screen that reaches upward, creating a subtle visual partition. The base cabinets feature rounded corners and a clean aesthetic, finished in a combination of matte white and soft blush panels. Minimalist brass-toned hardware accents the doors and drawers, while the top surface provides a display area for decor. One unit includes a central bank of three drawers flanked by doors, while the other features a series of doors and a decorative framed mirror mounted to the rear screen.

The download is a 107 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised into groups or components, allowing for easy placement and alignment within interior scenes. Users should ensure the model is scaled appropriately to the project floor plan before applying custom textures or lighting. The vertical screens are constructed from individual slats, which can be managed via the layer or tag system to optimise viewport performance during the design process. Materials are assigned to faces, making it straightforward to swap finishes to match specific interior design palettes.

These sideboards are suited for open-plan residential layouts, luxury apartment foyers, or boutique hotel lobbies where a balance between storage and spatial definition is required. They pair well with minimalist decor, potted plants, and contemporary lighting fixtures. Architects and interior designers often specify these units when looking for a modern room-divider sideboard or a statement piece for a hallway entrance. They function effectively as a transition element, helping to anchor a space while maintaining visual flow throughout the room.
