About this asset

These off-white fabric floor-length curtains are provided as a SketchUp model, featuring natural vertical pleats and a clean drape. This set of two floor-length fabric curtains features a simple, contemporary aesthetic suitable for various interior styles. The panels are modelled with consistent, soft vertical pleats that mimic the natural gathering of textile hanging from a track or rod. The material is represented with a neutral off-white tone, offering a versatile base for interior visualisations. The geometry captures the weight and fall of fabric, with subtle folds at the base where the curtains meet the floor, providing a realistic sense of scale and soft-furnishing detail for architectural scenes.

The download is a 5.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtain panels should be placed using the move and rotate tools to align with window frames or wall openings. Given the file structure, users can easily scale the height to match specific ceiling levels or adjust the width by manipulating the geometry. Apply custom textures or materials to the surfaces to refine the fabric finish, and use the soft edges settings to enhance the appearance of the folds during the rendering process within your preferred plugin or standalone engine.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and hotel suites where a neutral, soft-furnishing element is required to complete the space. They pair well with modern or minimalist interior designs, providing a sense of comfort and finish to large glazing units. Architects and interior designers can incorporate these into early-stage concept modelling or final high-quality visualisations.
