About this asset

These off-white fabric curtains with a wooden rod are a 3ds Max model featuring a classic gathered drape and matching tie-backs. The assembly comprises a pair of floor-length curtains suspended from a simple, dark-toned horizontal wooden rod. The fabric features a subtle, fine-textured weave in an off-white finish, creating a soft, light-filtering aesthetic. Each panel is pulled to the side and secured with a coordinated fabric tie-back, resulting in natural, vertical folds and a gentle drape towards the floor. The hardware remains minimal, focusing on the clean lines of the rod and the organic movement of the textile, providing a versatile solution for various interior window configurations.

The download is a 20.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the rod and curtain geometry. Users can adjust the scale to fit specific window widths while maintaining the drape proportions. The fabric material uses standard mapping coordinates, allowing for texture adjustments or the application of custom shaders. The rod and curtains are discrete objects, facilitating precise placement within a scene or integration into larger window treatment assemblies for architectural visualisation.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and hospitality suites where a soft, neutral window treatment is required. They pair effectively with contemporary or transitional furniture styles and can be used in both daylight and evening scene setups to enhance the realism of a space. Professionals searching for window dressings, drapes, or interior textile elements will find this asset useful for adding depth and texture to interior renders during the design development or presentation stages.
