About this asset

This neoclassical double bed SketchUp model features an ornate gold-trimmed frame and white tufted upholstery for a refined aesthetic. Defined by its opulent neoclassical silhouette, this double bed features a high, arched headboard and a corresponding lower footboard. Both elements are heavily tufted with a white fabric finish, providing a soft, tactile contrast to the rigid, gilded frame. The frame is finished in a polished gold, showcasing delicate carved detailing at the crest of both the head and foot. The set includes integrated bedding, consisting of pillows and a textured coverlet, maintaining a consistent, monochromatic palette that emphasises the bed's structural curves and classic proportions.

The download is a 15.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp scene, import the component and position it using the origin point at the base of the frame. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection if materials need adjusting or if the bedding requires re-mapping. Ensure the model is scaled correctly relative to the project room dimensions before finalising placement. For realistic lighting, apply reflective properties to the gold frame materials to capture light highlights within your render engine, ensuring the tufted fabric retains its depth.

This bed is ideally suited for high-end residential master suites, boutique hotel guest rooms, or luxury apartment staging. Its ornate, neoclassical character pairs well with heavy drapes, polished timber floors, and metallic accent decor. Architects and interior designers might search for this piece when specifying traditional or formal bedroom interiors that require a strong focal point. It serves as a sophisticated element in projects aiming for a regal or period-inspired atmosphere, functioning effectively in both visualisations and detailed interior design documentation.
